How to Find People: A Totally Free People FindIn Feburary 2016 27,

In Feburary 2016 27,
START WITH WHAT YOU KNOW. You may need to skip steps or rearrange them based on the information and data you have in order to find people. Background relationships, actions, jobs, etc. can guide you on where to start. People finding isn't a lock step process...but there are steps you can take.
USE LIMITED SEARCHES TO FIND PEOPLE.Background on limited searches: A limited search can help you find people in several different ways. First you can give specific phrases that have to be present together in that order by using a set of quotation marks. Simply surround their full name, for example, in the search box with quotation marks. Add further specifiers and limiters by using words such as AND or NOT. AND command requires the search results to have both elements such as 'John Whereishe' AND 'Somewhere, PA' NOT 'Anywhere, PA.'This quickly limits the searches to the specifics you have to find people, background included.
USE RELATIONSHIPS TO FIND PEOPLE.A totally free people find technique is to simply look for people you know are connected. Sometimes in a relationship there is one net savvy person and another net avoider. Look for the one you know will have a website, a listed email, or a contact page online.
USE SOCIAL NETWORKING TOOLS TO FIND PEOPLE. Background searches aren't the only way to find people. Facebook and twitter are increasingly helpful at reconnecting. If you went to school together, search facebook's network connected with your school. Look for relationships and friends that would connect you with them. If you think their name might have changed, look simply for their first name.
USE PUBLIC INFORMATION TO FIND PEOPLE. If you know a county where someone lives but don't have an address don't lose hope. If they are homeowners your county auditor or assessor has their address in a publicly searchable file, often online. Search for the last name using your county's website. You can also check other public records such as auctions, court trials, and newspapers.
USE YOUR OWN NETWORK TO FIND PEOPLE. Do you know where people are who might know where this person is? Send out a mass email titled 'looking for...' and see if you can find any leads.
TRICK THE PAID PEOPLE FINDERS. Many paid people finders will only give you initial information to get you hooked. But a few of them will give you the name, age, and town before they make you pay. If you can find one of those, that information may be all you need to then use the internet's free resources to find the rest. See more tips and warnings on people finding below.

Corn Roast Party IdeasIn Feburary 2016 22,

In Feburary 2016 22,
Kick off the corn roast festivities right from the start with some corn-inspired invitations. Find cards that feature the golden vegetable and stick corn kernels in the envelope instead of confetti. For an even more creative invite, send a corn husk to the guest-to-be. Wrap the party information around the outside or write it right on the husk using a permanent marker. These invitations can be hand-delivered or left at the guest's doorstep as a surprise.
Food
This party is centered around corn, so brush up on your best corn roasting recipes before the big day. Herbs and spices add extra flair to the dish; experiment with different styles a few days before the party. Prepare other foods to serve, too, including chips, beans and maybe some barbecued meat. Provide plenty of refreshments, including soda, lemonade and beer.
Decorations
Get as corny as you wish when decorating for your corn roast. Use red-and-white-checkered linens to adorn the tables, giving the party a rustic outdoor feel. Instead of chairs, provide bails of hay that guests can relax on. Use the vegetable of honor as centerpieces. Arrange a few husks of corn sticking out of a vase. Find some with a lot of silk coming out of the top for added texture.
Activities
Host some corny contests for your guests. Hold a corn shucking contest; challenge guests to see who can rip off the husk, wash and bag the most corn in a given amount of time. A corn-eating contest is another activity centered around the vegetable. Water balloon and squirt gun fights offer a way to cool down during the hot summer party.

How to Have StreakIn Feburary 2016 22,

In Feburary 2016 22,
Mix two parts of household glass surface cleaner to one part rubbing alcohol in a plastic spray bottle. Shake to mix. If you want the floor cleaner to have a pleasant smell, you can add a few drops of any essential oil.
Use a broom to sweep thoroughly to remove all larger pieces of debris from the floor. Run a dust-collecting dry mop, such as a Swiffer, across the floor to ensure that all the dust and dirt has been removed. The lack of dust will play a huge role in the floor being streak-free in the end.
Spray the homemade solution all over the floor and use a clean mop to rub it in. It is not necessary to rinse away the solution with water. The light nature of the cleaner will ensure that the floor dries beautifully streak-free.

How to Change OWA Web AddressesIn Feburary 2016 17,

In Feburary 2016 17,
Access the Windows desktop on the server hosting OWA.
Click 'Start,' click 'Run,' type 'inetmgr' (minus the quotes) into the Run dialog box and press 'Enter' to open IIS Manager on the Windows server. This method will work no matter which version of Windows server you are using.
Right-click the 'Sites' folder within IIS Manager and click 'Add Web Site.'
Type in the site name. This can be whatever you would like but should be easily recognizable to you. For example, 'Outlook Web Access' would clearly indicate the purpose of the site.
Click 'Select' next to the Application Pool dialog box.
Choose 'MSExchangeOWAAppPool' from the drop-down list and click 'OK.'
Browse to the physical path of OWA in the Physical Path box by clicking 'Browse.' Your OWA physical path is selected when initially installing Microsoft Exchange.
Choose 'https:' under the Type selection box. You can leave the IP address as 'All Unassigned,' and you can leave the port as 80. This is the default web port address.
Enter a host name. This is your new OWA URL, so choose carefully and do not neglect the 'www,' should you choose to have a 'www.'
Ensure that 'Start Web site immediately' is checked and press 'OK.'

How to Create a Social WebsiteIn Feburary 2016 14,

In Feburary 2016 14,
Install WordPress on your Web server. Due to its popularity, WordPress is now offered as a standard application available with many Web-hosting plans. Some Web-hosting services offer an automatic installation option for WordPress. If you don't have much experience installing Web applications, select a Web host that offers automatic WordPress installation and you'll save a lot of time.
Install the BuddyPress plug-in. You can automatically install BuddyPress from the WordPress dashboard by going to the 'Plug-ins' menu on the left side of the Dashboard and selecting 'Add New.' Enter 'BuddyPress' in the plug-in search box. In the result listings, you'll see BuddyPress. Install BuddyPress by selecting the 'Install Now' link under the BuddyPress name.
Configure BuddyPress. BuddyPress has features for activity streams, editable user profiles, friend connections, private messaging, blogging and groups. Because BuddyPress is a WordPress plug-in, it is extensible, which means that features can be added to run alongside BuddyPress in the WordPress system. The BuddyPress.org site runs on WordPress and BuddyPress, so you can visit their site to see it in use.
Generate content for your website. Using WordPress, you can add pages or posts with content for your visitors and members. WordPress allows you to add text, images and video content to your website.
Promote your social website. You can use search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising or other traditional advertising methods to generate awareness of your social website. If your website is dedicated to a specific interest group or organization, you may be able to promote the website within the interest group or organization membership.
Manage the users. Because social websites permit a certain degree of user-generated content, you may want to review some or all of the new contributions to the site to make sure that no illegal or objectionable content is being added. Also, if you allow comments on your pages or posts, you'll want to install a comment spam blocker such as the 'akismet' plug-in. In general, you'll need to keep an eye on users and the content they are adding to make sure that your social website doesn't get hijacked by spammers.

How to Embed TTF Fonts in CSSIn Feburary 2016 07,

In Feburary 2016 07,
Open the HTML file for the Web page where you wish to display the embedded font. For websites or templates using a separate header file, open that instead. Use a code-editing program such as Notepad++, jEdit or BBEdit. Look for the following line of code in the top of your HTML file:
Look at the name of the .CSS file referenced in the
tag and open that file in your code editor. If you see no
tag, create one and then create a blank .CSS file.
Add the following code at the top of your .CSS file:@font-face {font-family: 'Font Name Here';src: URL('fontfile.ttf') format ('ttf');}Give a font family name to your font. You can use any name, but stick with a name that is easy to type and remember. Type the full or relative path to your .TTF file between the parentheses after 'URL.'
Use the embedded font as you would use a Web-safe font such as Arial, Helvetica or Georgia. Here is an example:h1 {font-family: 'Font Name Here', 'Another Font', generic;}The above code makes all tags use your embedded font. Should the embedded font not work, the browser will use 'Another Font' for level-one headers. In the case 'Another Font' does not exist on the user's computer, the browser goes to the last font. Use a generic family name here such as 'serif' and 'sans-serif.'
Upload your font using an FTP tool. If you do not use FTP, you can also log into your Web hosting control panel and then navigate to your file management tool. Most Web hosts offer this tool, which allows you to upload a few files at a time through your browser.

How to Upload a Dreamweaver Website Into Go Daddy HostingIn Feburary 2016 06,

In Feburary 2016 06,
Find the Host Name, FTP User Name and FTP Password you created when you opened your Go Daddy hosting account. You would have written this information down when you opened your account.
Open Dreamweaver. Go to 'Site' and then 'Manage Sites.'
Pick your website from the list given in the Manage Sites dialog box or click 'New' if you haven't started your website yet.
Choose 'Add New Server' when the setup window opens. Enter a name for your connection, something like 'Go Daddy' or your domain name would be easy to identify, but any name is OK.
Click 'FTP' from the connection menu and enter the FTP User Name and FTP Password you created with Go Daddy. Check the 'Save' box if you want Dreamweaver to remember your login information.
Type your domain name in the FTP box. Click the 'Test' button to confirm the connection. Leave any other fields blank or default unless you've set up special port or proxy settings in your home network or with Go Daddy.
Check 'Automatically upload files to server on save' if you want Dreamweaver to update your website every time you save a page.
Save the connection by clicking 'Save' and go to 'Edit,' then 'Preferences' in Windows. If you're using a Mac, click 'Dreamweaver' and then 'Preferences.'
Select your website from the list on the left and choose your upload settings. Establish whether the FTP connection will time out or terminate after a specified number of minutes. You can also set Dreamweaver to 'Prompt Before Moving Files on Server' and 'Save Files Before Putting.' Experiment until you find the settings that work for you.
