Get a family member, close friend or neighbor to help you plan the reception. You will need help the planning, making phone calls and deciding where you where the reception will be held. Possible locations for a reception are the church, the deceased person's house, family member's house, friend's house, neighbor's house, or at a restaurant. If you are very close to the deceased person, you need help in making arrangements for the funeral reception because you are in mourning, too.
Put one person in charge of receiving calls and calling all of the deceased person's family and friends. This person will spread information about where and when the funeral and reception will be held and provide directions to the functions. This person lets people know the deceased person's flower preferences or where to send money for charitable donation in the deceased's name.
Display photographs and memorabilia around the reception area. This reminds the guest of old times with the deceased and stimulates conversation about the deceased person.
Provide an area in the refrigerator for food brought in by relatives and friends. Have several bags of ice available for drinks. Put the foods and drinks on a table with several bowls of the ice. A funeral reception last for several hours, so take into consideration the possibility of food spoilage while it is on the table. Place the foods that need to be kept cold into deep trays filled with ice.
Stock the reception area with paper plates, hot and cold paper cups, various soft drinks tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, eating utensils, serving spoons, serving bowls and napkins.
Play some soft, uplifting music while the reception is going on.
Prepare a secluded area for rest or taking some private moments for the deceased's loved ones. Togetherness helps people get through the death of a loved one, but some people prefer not to show their emotions. This secluded area helps relieve tension in some people.

What Is an SMTP Server? In Feburary 2016 18,
In Feburary 2016 18,
Mail-delivery protocols began in the 1960s and continued to become more standardized as the number of hosts grew. SMTP was defined by Jon Postel in 1982 in the publication 'RFC821.' The current widely used standards are still essentially the same. Although many changes have been proposed to enhance security, the difficulties of implementing new standards universally have stopped changes from catching on.
Function
SMTP is the standard used to send emails from email clients on personal computers. It is commonly used in conjunction with POP or IMAP servers, which recieve mail. Most email clients, including Outlook, Entourage and Thunderbird, allow the use of SMTP.
Features
By default, SMTP uses plain ASCII text to communicate with a mail server on Port 25. SMTP servers can use secure-sockets layer connections for additional security. Some SMTP servers also require authentication with a user name and password.
Expert Insight
The lack of restrictions required for SMTP connections makes it possible to create emails with false information through a DOS command prompt. These can still be traced by authorities but can appear to come from incorrect sources. This is one reason spam emails are so prevalent.
Warning
Some Internet service providers block Port 25 to prevent spam and only allow their own SMTP servers to be used on their networks. In such cases, SMTP servers using other ports may still work, or the provider may allow the port to be opened upon request.

How to Host a Tupperware PartyIn Feburary 2016 04,
In Feburary 2016 04,
Get in touch with a Tupperware consultant in your area (see Resources below). This person will help you with the all the details of planning and hosting your Tupperware party.
Discuss the type of Tupperware party you plan to host. Decide on a theme, choose whether to host your party indoors or out, and determine the number of potential guests. Work out these details with your Tupperware consultant.
Send out invitations for your Tupperware party well in advance of the event. Make sure you include the date, time, place and any other pertinent information, such as directions or special instructions. In addition, include your phone number or email address with a date to RSVP.
Anticipate that not every person will respond with an RSVP by the date requested. With that in mind, expect that you'll have to call some of the people on your invitation list to confirm their attendance.
Think about menu planning once you have a good idea of how many people will be attending your Tupperware party. Depending on the type of party you're planning to host, you should consider whether simple snacks or a buffet style meal will be in order.
Expect your Tupperware party consultant to arrive early on the day of your party to help you set up.
Relax on the day of your party. You'll be playing host to your guests, of course, but your Tupperware consultant will do the rest in terms of demonstrating all the products and taking orders.
Reap your rewards. The more orders from your party, the more Tupperware products you'll receive in return.

How to Host a Business MeetingIn Feburary 2016 03,
In Feburary 2016 03,
The meeting will move faster and be more focused if you have a reason to hold it. Even if it's a regular weekly meeting, it will be more productive if you have a specific goal. Draw up an agenda touching on the topics you want to cover. Stick to the agenda: If someone brings up an unrelated topic, tell them to talk about it with you after the meeting is over.
Invite Selectively
Don't invite people who don't need to be there. If all you need from someone is an update on her latest project, you can get that in an email. Keeping the meeting to a reasonable size keeps things more orderly and focused. It also frees up more people to do productive work.
Prep Your Attendees
Send out your agenda before the meeting, so everyone knows what to expect. If you call the meeting to deal with a recent development -- a change in the law, a project delay -- include the background information with the agenda. That way everyone will be up to speed and you have more time in the meeting to address the development.
Find the Right Space
Find a room that's large enough that everyone who attends can seat themselves comfortably. Squeezing people in or hunting for chairs is distracting, uncomfortable and makes you look unprepared. Confirm the room has any equipment you need and that it's in working order. This is particularly important if the meeting includes a slide show presentation or if someone's going to attend by phone or videoconference.
Steer the Meeting
Agendas aren't magic. Lots of meetings start with a goal, then the participants veer off onto tangents. If you're hosting, it's up to you to steer the ship back on course. If your guests include customers or upper management, you'll have to do this with a delicate touch, but it needs doing. End the meeting at the scheduled time.
Help People Relax
You don't want to run such a tight meeting everyone feels like they're in boot camp. Arrange for a supply of snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Allow some time at the beginning for small talk, as people naturally enjoy catching up with each other. Just don't let it run on to the point it delays the business at hand.
