Register with TURDinc Downloads (see Resources). Once registered, you have access to the Nintendo Wiiware area.
Search for the games you want to download. Click 'Save' and install the game onto your desktop.
Insert your SD card into your computer. If your computer is old, it may not have a SD card slot. If your computer does not have an SD card slot, use a USB cable to connect your computer to your Wii console.
Click 'Start' and 'Computer.' Double-click on the SD card or the Wii icon.
Drag and drop the Wiiware game into your SD card or Wii console. You should now be able to play the game on your Wii console.

Decide whether you are playing standard Pokeno, where a player wins with is five cards in a row either horizontally, vertically or diagonally, or if you are going to play a variation like four corners or full card.
Hand out Pokeno game boards to everyone who wants to play the game. Give each of the players 20 poker chips.
Shuffle a deck of cards and lay it face down on the table. Pick one card at a time and call out the card name and the suit.
Instruct the players to place a chip over the card value that you just called out if they have it on their board.
Continue calling cards until one of the players has five in a row vertically, horizontally or diagonally. The player may also have the four outside corners or a full card if you are playing one of those variations. When the player gets what he needs to win on his card he calls out Pokeno.
Switch places with the winner of the last hand. Now you are playing to win and the winner is the dealer.

Before you begin you will need to download the HLDS update tool. To do so, open your Web browser and navigate to http://store.steampowered.com/about. From here, scroll to the bottom of the page and select 'Download HLDS Update Tool' from the right-hand corner. Once the tool is downloaded, open it and install it to your computer.
Next, open your command prompt. You will need to type 'cd c:/srcds' (without the quotes). This will navigate you to the folder where you installed the HLDS update.
In the same window, type in 'hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game garrysmod -dir .'. This will allow you to update the version of Gary's Mod on your computer.
After the update is complete, you will need to create a batch file. This file is used by Gary's Mod to manage the settings for your server. To do this, open up Notepad or another text editor. Inside, you will want to type 'srcds.exe -console -game garrysmod -port 27015 +maxplayers 6 +map gm_construct +sv_gamemode sandbox +sv_defaultgamemode sandbox'. Next, select File > Save As. In the file type box, select 'All Files.' Under the file name type 'startserver.bat'. Make sure to include .bat as this is what the game will recognize. Next, navigate to the install folder and save the file under the 'orangebox' directory.
Once you've saved the file, you're all set. Start up Gary's Mod game and look in your server list. Make sure to set a name for your server so that you can recognize it from the internet servers list.

Invite your friends. Send invitations to your card party at least 2 weeks in advance. Include the time, date and location of your party in your invitation along with a single face card from a deck of cards. You can use these cards to divide your guests into groups.
Purchase prizes. Everyone loves to get a prize when they win a game, and it is no different with cards. Prizes don't have to cost a lot of money and can be as simple as a new deck of cards or candy.
Decide on the games. There are so many card games you could play, but you really need to narrow it down to about three. Make sure that the games you choose are ones that everyone knows, or can learn quickly, and will fit into the time frame of your party. You may decide to play only one card game, but do it in tournament style.
Have the rules available for all games. Print off the rules for each game you will play. Having these handy will keep participants from having to ask questions. Each table of players can refer to their own set of printed rules. Rules for card games often come with the deck but can also be downloaded online.
Set up tables. Set your party tables up with enough room to maneuver around them. It is a good idea to make sure that the tables you use have room for people to place their drinks, or that there is a table nearby for them to set a beverage.
