How to Change Your Domain HostingIn Feburary 2016 27,

In Feburary 2016 27,
Research alternative Web hosting companies to find a service offering the features you need for your website at the best price.
Open an account with a new Web hosting company.
Log into your account with your current Web host.
Download all of your files from the host's server using the backup tool offered in the Web host's control panel or an FTP client application. Be sure to download all of your files. This includes any HTML files, picture files, audio files, flash files, INC files, CSS files, and so forth.
Back up your blog and Web forum database (if applicable) using a MySQL administration tool such as phpMyAdmin.
Log into your account with your new Web hosting company.
Obtain the DNS server information for the new Web hosting company. You will need this information later to update your DNS records to point to this new Web host server.
Upload all of the files for your website (downloaded in Step 4) to the new host's server.
Install the backup copy of your blog and forum database (created in Step 5) to the new host's server using their MySQL administration tool.
Log into your account with your original Web hosting company. Navigate to the Domain Name manager tool offered in the host's control panel. Edit your DNS records to reflect the server name associated with your new Web host. Submit the update. It can take up to 24 hours for the DNS records update to take effect globally. During this time your website will go off-line.
Visit your website. Check everything out to make sure all your Web pages have migrated successfully, the design elements of the site are still in tact, the website forum and blog are functioning properly, and so forth. Only after you're certain everything with your website is as it's supposed to be should you move on to the next step because you have mistakenly neglected to backup a stray file or two.
Cancel your account with your Web hosting company.

How to Make an Online Radio Station for FreeIn Feburary 2016 26,

In Feburary 2016 26,
Use the software ubroadcast to broadcast online. Ubroadcast allows you to set up an online radio station for free and broadcast live. However, other users must download the ubroadcast client before they can listen to your station.
Set up a Shoutcast broadcasting server. Shoucast is a free program that also allows for online radio broadcasting. Shoutcast allows you to either broadcast directly from your own computer, or from a third-party Shoutcast host that hosts your program on its servers. It does not require special software for listeners to use.
Create a podcast using sound software such as Audacity and use a podcast hosting service such as MyPodCast to host the podcast. While not a live Internet broadcast, Podcasts have an advantage in that they can be downloaded to the PC and played back anytime, unlike a radio broadcast, which can only be heard once unless you record it.

How to Get a Job at HGTVIn Feburary 2016 25,

In Feburary 2016 25,
Exude an entertaining personality. HGTV is part information and part entertainment. People learn from the programs, but they have to want to watch them. Part of a show's appeal is the host. Having a background in any of several fields will help, including broadcast journalism, mass communications, marketing and performing arts, specifically TV and stage acting.
Become educated. HGTV hires hosts who know their stuff. The former host of HGTV's 'House Hunters' show, Suzanne Whang is a comedian and actor, but she also has a degree in psychology -- something that no doubt serves her well in assessing whether a home or apartment fits a client's needs. Though Sabrina Soto found her job on Craigslist, she had real estate and interior design expertise.
Make yourself known. TV hosts often start out as featured guests. People become featured guests when they have credibility and personality. Writing a book or establishing a name for yourself in a local market is a gateway to renown. Consider Bob Vila, the TV home-improvement pioneer. He restored a Victorian home in Massachusetts in the late 1970s. 'The Boston Globe' wrote about the project, the local PBS affiliate filmed a pilot episode, and 'This Old House' was born.
Know the company. HGTV is owned by Scripps Networks, which also owns the DIY Network, Food Network, Fine Living Network, and Great American Country. Check their jobs page regularly.
Know its people. Jobs in entertainment largely are a matter of 'who you know.' If a person with hiring authority already knows and likes someone who can do the job well, that person stands a great chance of landing the job. Send your resume and a DVD of your on-camera style to their HR office, as well as to the producers of your favorite shows. Scripps also hires many interns. Even if it's not exactly what you want, any internship is a good way to be known and to learn about the network.
Put the move in perspective. Few people who host on HGTV and similar networks endeavor specifically to do that; instead, the jobs are part of a broader career path or simple circumstance. Guy Fieri, host of three network shows, started out as a chef and restaurant manager; he then competed on and won 'The Next Food Network Star.' After that, his TV career was a lock.
