Choose a distinguishable name for your company. Include the abbreviation 'LLC' or the phrase 'limited liability company' at the end of the name you have chosen. Confirm that your chosen name has not been registered by another company in your state. To do this, visit your state's secretary or department of state website and search the database.
Download and print an Articles of Organization form from the secretary or department of state's website. If you're unable to do so, call or write the department to have the form sent to you by mail. If possible, you can also go to the department's offices in person to get the Articles of Organization.
Complete the Articles of Organization. Provide the name and address of the LLC, the reason for forming the LLC, and the name and address of each LLC member. Also include the name and address of a registered agent, which is a person or business appointed to receive the LLC's legal documents. Each person listed on the Articles of Organization must sign the document.
Submit the completed Articles of Organization to the department of state. Some states will allow you to file the form online. You can also submit Articles of Organization in person at the office. Pay the applicable filing fee. The fee will varies from state to state.

How to Host an Email NewsletterIn Feburary 2016 15,
In Feburary 2016 15,
Create a unique HTML page for each article you wish to include in your newsletter. HTML, which stands for 'Hypertext Markup Language,' allows you to construct webpages and emails using a library of HTML commands. Use an HTML editor, such as FirstPage or Adobe Dreamweaver, for help creating HTML files. Code your HTML from scratch using a simple text editor like NotePad or WordPad, if possible. To 'code' an HTML page means to use Hypertext Markup Language to arrange the text and graphics in the manner in which you want them to appear on your page. Type or paste the text of your newsletter article, including the paragraph tags, font styles and other HTML code, into the HTML file you created using your HTML or text editor. Put a story title and the author's name for each item in the newsletter on a separate HTML page of the newsletter.
Upload the HTML web pages you created for your newsletter articles to your web server---this 'hosts' the files on your website. If you have a simple and easily accessible content management system, use it copy and paste the HTML you created. For example, third-party systems like Liferay and SiteRefresh allow users to log into a web application, create or update webpages and instantly push the updated content to their websites. Otherwise, upload your HTML files directly to your web server using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) access or whatever other means you use to add files to your website. Make note of the URL, including the 'http,' where you stored your files.
Create an HTML page for your email newsletter itself. Include a table of contents, brief descriptions of each article and links to read more. Associate the links in your email newsletter with the URLs for the articles you hosted on your web server. To create a link, type this HTML code into your email and update it to include your URL and link name:your link nameComply with the requirements of the CAN-SPAM (Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing) Act by including your mailing address and an opt-out link in your email newsletter. The Federal Trade Commission created the CAN-SPAM Act in 2003 to combat consumer spam, so all email senders must comply with its requirements as a matter of federal law.
Combine your HTML email newsletter with a plain-text version of the same message and send it in MIME format to your subscribers. MIME stands for Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME). Email marketers should send messages in MIME format because not all subscribers can receive HTML emails, and some spam blockers award higher spam scores to HTML messages that do not include a plain-text version.Use a third-party service to bundle and send the HTML and text versions of your newsletter to subscribers, or consult your web developer for assistance creating a script on your web server to send MIME messages. A script is a program that performs an intended action; in this case, the script would send your HTML and text messages to your list of subscribers. Test your message before you send it to your subscribers to ensure that the links to your hosted articles function properly.

How to Host a Foreign Exchange StudentIn Feburary 2016 07,
In Feburary 2016 07,
Know what you are getting into. Realize that hosting an exchange student is like adopting him or her for the time they are in this country. These students have financial resources and are almost always covered with medical insurance policies, but their housing, supervision and emotional support come directly from the host family. It is also true that because of cultural differences, exchange students sometimes have difficulty integrating into the hectic and competitive society that exists in American high schools and junior high schools.
Go through a rigorous placement process. Prior to 2006, background checks were optional and at the discretion of the entity responsible for the exchange student's placement. Following a series of articles from all over the world that documented apparent abuse of students during their stay in the United States, legislation was initiated to establish oversight of the placement process. At that time, many if not most exchange student agencies voluntarily began requiring criminal background checks on the adult members of prospective host families.
Decide which organization you want to use for placement. There are a large number of entities that handle placement of exchange students. Some of these organizations work with designated countries, some with designated religious affiliations, some with specific educational organizations and others without a defined population of any kind. The Council for Standards on International Educational Travel (CSIET) is such an organization. CSIET has a list of vetted programs throughout America.
Check the websites of three of the oldest exchange student organizations: the American Field Service, The Rotary Youth Exchange and The Youth for Understanding Foundation. These organizations have long standing reputations. They place a large number of students.
Check smaller organizations, and organizations that serve specific populations of students. AYUSA, The Center for Cultural Exchange and The World Heritage Student Exchange Programs are examples of such programs.
Apply with one of the organizations after considering the responsibilities inherent in the program and the type student you would like to host.

How to Get Free Internet AdvertisingIn Feburary 2016 04,
In Feburary 2016 04,
Blogging is a great way to advertise a business online. Install a blog on your businesses website. It can be in the background if you don't want regular site visitors to easily come across it, but it is better if it is interlinked with the site. Promote your blog in the blogosphere to get traffic. Make sure to link your product with similar blog posts and vice versa.
Comment on blogs, forums and articles of similar nature. Most of these will allow you to link back to your blog or website from there. If you spend the time to give real valid input on their content, it will make your website look more reputable so people will be more likely to click over and take a look at what you are offering. This can be one of the most effective methods to advertise a business online because there is a personal aspect to it. People are more likely to trust a real person than the advice given by a Google advertisement.
Writing articles on different websites such as associated content, bukisa or eHow can be a great way to advertise your business. An example of how this can be done is eHow. Write an article about how to do something that would require them to make use of the product or services which you are selling. Then link to your product or service as a way of encouraging the sale. This can be a very lucrative method if you spend the time to write quality material.
Classifieds are another great way to advertise a business online. For the most part classifieds, even on the internet, are localized. This can actually be good because you can target different locals in order to provide customized offers to the various places.

How to Advertise Free in Thousands of Newspapers and MagazinesIn Feburary 2016 03,
In Feburary 2016 03,
Research which trade magazines and newspapers share customer demographics similar to your company's. A simple Internet search typically turns up hundreds of publications. For example, the search 'magazines: vintage recipes' returns more than 2 million results. Use the same method for finding print newspapers.
Check submission guidelines to see how each newspaper or magazine accepts material from the public. You may need to send a query letter to some magazine publishers, while others will accept unsolicited material. Follow the guidelines exactly to increase your chance of acceptance.
Read each magazine's table of contents for the past two years to make sure the publications have not recently published articles similar to yours. Additionally, for both newspapers and magazines, read a few articles from the publications your target audience reads, to learn the publications' writing styles and ideal article length.
Find the editor's name and email address for each publication you're submitting a press release or article to. Newspapers typically print this information on page 2; magazines may print it anywhere within the first few pages or even near the end of the publication. Address your email or correspondence using the editor's full name and title. Since you are contacting a large number of publications, use the 'BCC' (blind carbon copy) option in your email program to streamline this process; BCC also prevents your correspondence from looking like a mass email, even if you simultaneously sent it to multiple recipients. Alternately, you could hire an online public relations firm to send your press release to thousands of publishers at once. However, if you want completely free advertising, use the more time-consuming method of researching and sending the information yourself.
Write a press release about your product or service, keeping the tone of the piece informative and intriguing rather than obviously promotional. State how your company benefits the community or the customer. A well-written 'human interest' press release that follows submission guidelines, as well as the writing style of the particular newspaper or magazine, has a better chance of being published than a sales flyer. Additionally, a time-sensitive piece can more successfully get a newspaper editor's attention, while a magazine editor may need a longer lead time. Create several versions of the press release to appeal to differing submission criteria. The time-sensitive press release could relate to your participation in an upcoming event, while a magazine submission may explain unusual or interesting aspects of your business.
